When and where is the tournament?
The tournament will take place from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM on Aug 20, 2022. The location will be at the Louis Sutter Pickleball Courts at McLaren Park in San Francisco, CA.
What is the format?
This is a single-day doubles round-robin tournament. All pairings are determined by experience level (not gender).
Do I need a partner to register?
No. Partners will be rotated each game within each match.
How many matches will I play?
Every player is guaranteed to play four matches. Each match consists of three games. Games are won when a team reaches seven points (win by two).
What equipment will be used?
This tournament’s ball will be the Franklin X-40 Outdoor. Matches will be played on the Louis Sutter outdoor permanent pickleball courts.
Will there be snacks and prizes?
Yes! Light refreshments will be provided, but please bring your own lunch picnic. The top three players with the most wins in each bracket will receive a medal.
